Dr John Knott


Dr John Knott is no longer operating and he will cease consulting in late October 2024. Dr Aemelia Melloy, Breast Endocrine and General Surgeon will continue working at Suite 3H Flecker House.

His office is Suite 3H, Flecker House which is near Cairns Private Hospital and has onsite patient parking at the Grafton Street entrance. He did his surgical training in Brisbane and the United Kingdom and was formerly visiting Surgeon at Cairns Hospital for 25 years.

General Surgery is a specialty focusing on abdominal, stomach, colon, bowel, gallbladder and thyroid.

This also includes diseases involving skin, breast and hernias.

Fees


All visits to Dr Knott require a GP referral in order for patients to claim their Medicare rebate.
Our reception team can lodge the Medicare rebate claim on the day of the visit.
